Beneficial insects are a super method of pest control. A hungry ladybird can munch through 4,000 aphids in a summer. This design has a hook and chain so that it can be hung from many places such as pergolas or hanging basket brackets. Alternatively it can be fixed to a fence or a wall. Other ideal spots are by a pond or near scented plants. We recommend that you bring them indoors (in a shed or garage) from November to March to protect the lacewing population from frost. We also have attractants available for Ladybirds and Lacewings. Use both attractants from early spring onwards - the Ladybird attractant can re-applied throughout the season and will last up to four months whilst the lacewing attractant will last for at least six weeks. Bug Box is 9” tall. |
